So Cool!

For almost two weeks its been very hot (35+) and humid here in Taipei.

Every morning I'm drenched by the time I get to the office, and I immediately have to take a shower when I get home in the evening.

However, today there was an enormous thunderstorm... From the 73rd floor of Taipei 101 it was truly awesome... we could see each thunder bolt in glorious detail, and hear the thunder reverberate across the entire Taipei basin.

But the truly wonderful thing was the effect on the weather.

This evening, once the tempest had passed, the humidity lifted and the temperature dropped to a cool 27 degrees... with a nice, refreshing, cool breeze.

Wonderful weather for a stroll around this lively city.
